Week 9

This week was semi-uneventful. We had just been to Florida with the family so it was back to the grind. However, it was Andy's birthday on Sunday, April 26...and a golden birthday none-the-less. So that was quite exciting. We were kind of low key. We went out to a new restaurant, Avec, that we had been wanting to try for sometime and it was very good. I never realized though, how much food I loved to eat and was going to miss eating during my pregnancy. Being married to a chef, my food knowledge and tastes have grown immensely. But so much of that stuff is off limits during pregnancy. Oh well. I still found something that was delicious and we had a great time. Andy said that the baby on the way was the best present he could have asked for!!! Happy Birthday Andy!

Also, this week was the first week I took a picture of my belly. I think that it will be cool to see the growth of my belly from week to week. So far I have been not so good at remembering to take pictures, so hopefully I will get better at it. This is a picture of me at the end of 9 weeks.


Not much difference that you can notice. I will apologize right now for the pictures as most of them will probably be taken in scrubs. It's all I do; what can I say. The only thing that I have just started noticing is that my pants are definitely fitting a little bit tighter than normal. It probably won't be too much longer until I have to wear maternity clothes! We'll see. Otherwise, everything else is going great. I feel great and we are still just super excited!!
