Week 27

Another fairly uneventful week and again...no belly pic. I really do apologize. I am going to get better. It was back to the grind after a busy, but fun week full of wedding and family festivities. Work has been busy and Andy and I didn't really get to have time to ourselves just as a couple. When we did, I enjoyed just sitting on the couch together lounging. Andy will usually lay his head on my belly to see what is going on with baby. He'll talk to baby and it is seriously amazing because whether or not it is true, baby responds to Andy's voice. It is pretty awesome! Andy will say, "hi baby, I love you!" and will get a kick in return! It is really cool and it let's Andy be involved with baby too! Super fun! Here is baby's growth at this stage of 27 weeks...

- approximately 14.5 in. long
- weighs 2 lbs.
- baby is sleeping and waking at regular intervals and opening and closing his/her eyes
- brain tissue is developing and helping the brain to be very active
