Since I have no real news here is an update as to what is going on with baby at 14 weeks:
- measures 3.5 in. (about the size of a lemon) and weighs 1.5 oz.
- baby can squint, frown, pee, and possibly suck his/her thumb
- starting to develop an ultra-fine covering of hair, called lanugo
- baby's liver starts making bile
- spleen starts helping in the production of red blood cells
- Though you can't feel his tiny punches and kicks yet, your little one's hands and feet are more flexible and active...hopefully soon!!
I also have a belly pic for you, end of week 14. Who knew I would grow a belly so fast and acquire so much hair!?
Ha ha ha ha! Andy thought this would be hilarious so I had to put it on. He is sticking his belly out. Just to point that out!! ;-)
