Week 18 and Happy Fourth of July!

Happy fourth of July everyone! So I worked Friday night, July 3 and then I had the 4th and 5th off. So I had this brilliant plan that Andy and I would spend the day outside, pack a picnic, go out to the lake, and then watch the fireworks that night. I told Andy that he had to wake me up regardless of what I said or did to try and stay sleeping but I really wanted to go outside. For one, I need to get my tan on...severely. And for two, usually on my days off, I spend them inside or just hanging out. We live on beautiful Lake Michigan and rarely get to enjoy it so I really wanted to get outside. Especially having the day off with Andy, that is a rarity as well. Apparently that wasn't in the cards for us because it rained all day....like really rained. I think I have worked the past three 4th of July's and no rain, so of course it would rain when I am off.

Fortunately the next day was nice so we packed a picnic and went out to the lake then. Here is a pic showing us reading our books on how to be good parents! First Time Mom and The New Father. Hahaha...

Anyway, we had a great day and got to spend some time together which is most important. I feel like my belly is growing every week. I know it is kind of hard to tell on these progression of pics but it definitely is. My scrub pants for work are now not fitting the greatest either so I just had to order my new ones. I am still only feeling those fluid movements. Next week is our big ultrasound which is very exciting. We will have much more information for you then. Hopefully I will have gained some weight as well. How could I have not, my belly is getting bigger all the time. So, we will see. Here is a belly pic for you. Sorry for the tired look...I think this was taken right before I went to bed. See you next week!
